Guided Imagery Meditations leverage all of your senses to immerse you in your “happy place” to give you a retreat from the demands of your daily life.
In this meditation, you will be invited to tune into your five senses (sight, sound, touch, smell, and taste) as you envision yourself relaxing in a space that elicits feelings of peace, serenity and joy. The experience you have will be unique to you and your life, and may change each time you participate in this meditation. One time you may be on a warm sandy beach, and the next time you may be floating in a canoe on a lake in the middle of the forest. Some people imagine a special place in their home, while others create a fantasy location made of chocolate waterfalls and cotton candy clouds. There is no wrong way to do this meditation, so long as the feelings that come up for you are those of peace and tranquility.
