A body scan meditation is a systematic journey through your entire body, head to toe, to assist you with getting more in-tune with how you are feeling in the here and now. The meditation begins with a “dropping-in” to the present moment and an invitation to find a comfortable position while noticing your breathing to become full grounded in the present. Once you are comfortable, we will briefly focus on each part of the body, beginning at the top of your head, and methodically move towards your toes. You will be encouraged to notice any sensations you experience, and to take note of any areas of your body that may need some extra love to become more comfortable. This meditation is the perfect choice for anyone who wants to strengthen their connection between body and mind.

02 : Do your best to create an environment that will minimize distractions, this is your “me” time
03 : If you become distracted by thoughts or sensations gently draw your attention back to the breath until you feel ready to join the meditation, wherever it is in its progress
04 : Practice makes perfect, the more often you meditate with the Body Scan, the easier it will become to become fully engaged in the meditation.
